It is 2097 and your piece is played to an audience of 14 robots, 35 people, and 76 animals of varying sorts, how will they all react and what do you want them to feel?

I hope the people will say "Oh not this piece again! I have been hearing it twice a week for decades now!"

the robots will say "This music is so beautiful - let's let these humans live for a few more minutes..."

and the animals will be go "This music is so groovy, if it hasn't been 57 degrees in the shade, I would undoubtedly dance right now"

If you could invent a new instrument what would it look like and how would it sound?

Not sure it counts as an instrument but as a child I used to imagine I had a machine that made music by "conducting" in thin air. Imagine looper+wii meets AI technology and futuristic neuroscience :) Basically projecting the emotional storm that is going on in my head when composing, and creating real life music out of it on the spot.

In an ideal world when and how should people listen to your music?

For sure standing up while having space to dance and experience the music through their body.

Besides that I believe music is a shared experience without real hierarchy or sacredness, so I would remove any barriers between the crowd and the performers so they all could interact and influence the music as it is happening.

Your favourite place to compose: a cave, an attic, a café, on the train, or are you inspired everywhere?

I used to have ideas popping during bicycle/bus rides, recently with the political state In Israel I find myself once or twice a week protesting against the government with a Darbuka in my hands, you'd be surprised how many great ideas come up like this.

Do you sleep on your back, front, or side?

Having a 7 months baby, I don't feel I have the privilege to choose, any position will do 😅

If you had one day to live what would you do?

Answer as many magazine-questionnaires as I can :)
